International Order of Odd Fellows Hall
Current Use:
Noblesville Main Street Office Space, Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitors Center, and Paul Pacior Law Office

Location: 835-839 Conner Street
History of the Building:
The building was originally three separate facilities. In 1866 the International Order of Odd Fellows acquired the top floor of the only three-story building of the group--the middle building--from Doctor Meisse. In 1900, members added a third floor to the other adjoining buildings, creating one big lodge and giving the appearance of one large three-story building. The building was dedicated January 18, 1901. In 1952, the building's western side collapsed when the store's basement was lowered to create more room.
The IOOF Building has housed a number of businesses over the years. Some of the businesses located there have been a dry goods store, a pool parlor, cafes, a travel service, a clothing store, and ice cream parlor, a hardware store, a furniture store, a grocery, and a drug store. Dentists and lawyers have had their offices here, too.
