Historic photo from Hamilton County Sesquicentennial Commemorative Album, Noblesville, Indiana: Rowland Publishing, 1973, p. 7

Location:

130 - 132 North 9th Street

Year Built:  1910

History of the Building:

This "modern banking house" was constructed in 1910 as the first new building of the new decade.  It is a notable representative of the Beaux Arts architectural style, deemed particularly appropriate for banks.  Although some "modernization" has taken place, this building still exhibits most elements of its limestone facade.
